NC Div. of Bicycle & Pedestrian Transportation NCDOT launched this project to improve walking and bicycling conditions statewide and develop a vision for the future of bicycling and walking in North Carolina.

City of Charlotte Bicycle Program The Charlotte Department of Transportation Bicycle Program website includes tons of information regarding cycling within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. You will find information about city specific laws and ordineces, interactive cycling maps and much more. 
Charlotte Cycling Guide (pdf) The Charlotte Department of Transportation Bicycle Program produced this map to assist those in Charlotte who want to bike to work, shop or just to tour the city. Included on the map are bike lanes, signed bike routes and greenways. There are also suggested routes to help cyclists navigate Charlotte’s street network.

Meck Cty Recycling - Bike Tires & Tubes The Retire Pilot program successfully diverted over 1 ton of materials in 6 months. The program was warmly embraced by the local bicycling community and was recently recognized as an "Outstanding Program" by the Carolina Recycling Association (CRA).
