Tour de Turns
Saturday August 26, 2017 - Charlotte, NC - Join us for the 6th Annual Tour De Turns bicycle event benefitting Loaves and Fishes. We offer 15, 25, 37 and 62 mile routes plus a Youth Cyclocross Clinic and Kids Closed Loop Bicycle Course in the safe confines of Carmel Rd. Neighborhood Park. Explore backstreet routes through tree-lined (shaded) streets of beautiful South Charlotte neighborhoods all while helping turn the corner on local hunger! Enjoy live music (free to all), lots of raffle prizes, a craft beer garden and lunch under the shade trees in the park whether you ride or not!
Saturday September 2, 2017 - Charlotte, NC - Formerly known as the Morrison Metric, Ride! Ballantyne is a community ride for cyclists and triathletes of all distances and abilities. As the 2016 runner-up for Best Ride in Endurance Magazine, Ride! Ballantyne offers distance options of 30, 45, 63 and 80 Mile. Fueling stations with restrooms are available on all four bike routes. Registration fee provides you with SAG support, cue sheets, staffed fueling stations and post ride cookout. Optional run routes available for triathletes needing a brick workout. The first 250 registered riders will receive a pair of custom 2017 Ride! Ballantyne cycling socks. Team Division: Ride! In UNITY - Wear matching jerseys and enjoy riding as a team. Run & Pedal the Park
Monday September 4, 2017 - Huntersville, NC - Run & Pedal The Park is open to all runners, walkers and cyclists! The event will begin and end at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in The Park-Huntersville. The 30 mile and 60 mile marked routes will exit the back entrance of The Park and travel by police escort through the Town of Huntersville. Both routes will turn right onto Ramah Church Road and enter the beautiful terrain of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Iredell, and Rowan counties. There will be a short out-and-back section of the route before entering a loop that travels the country roads of Iredell County. The routes are rolling and will be well supported with food, water and SAG wagons. The routes will travel roads with little traffic but will cross busy highways. Please use caution when crossing major intersections. For the casual cyclist, enjoy the 3-mile Fun Ride around the inner-loop of The Park-Huntersville. The 5k Run will be contained to The Park-Huntersville.
Saturday September 9, 2017 - Mooresville, NC - Come and join us for a 5K race or a 50K timed bike ride and a concert kicking off the Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department's annual event, Run Ride, Rhythm. The ride is being held to honor the memory of TR Rathbun and his commitment to cycling on the Brawley Peninsula. TR started the first organized cycling group in our area. This fundraising event, hosted by LKNVFD, is being held to benefit the Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department.
Flight of the Dove
Saturday August 19, 2017 - Clinton, SC - A fund-raising event for Hospice of Laurens County since 2006, Flight of the Dove features a metric century (62 miles), a 30 mile ride, and a 14 mile leisure ride. A 50 mile variation of the metric century is also available. Cue sheets and directions to the stadium are available at www.hospiceoflaurenscounty.com. All rides are SAG'ed and have frequent, well-stocked rest stops. T-shirts are guaranteed to riders who register prior to July 1, 2017. Lunch is provided to all participants. All rides begin and end at the stadium.
9th Annual American Tour Bike Ride
Saturday August 19, 2017 - Lexington, NC - The 9th Annual American Tour featuring two routes around High Rock Lake and through scenic Davidson and Rowan Counties. All preregistered cyclists will be guaranteed to receive ACH apparel. All others will receive apparel until supplies are exhausted. Please join us for a day of fun and fellowship to assist a great cause. Each cyclist is required to wear an approved helmet.

Saturday August 26, 2017 - Concord, NC - Celebrate community, help those in crisis, and embrace the spirit of cycling! Join us for the 5th annual Tour de Saints. Proceeds from this event will go to support Cooperative Christian Ministry serving Cabarrus and southern Rowan Counties.
Anthem Moonlight Ride
Saturday August 26, 2017 - Richmond, VA - With a Full Moon (15-mile) course and a Half Moon (8-mile) option, Moonlight Ride has something for everyone. And if you’re not in it for the yellow jersey, take advantage of our well-stocked rest stops on Monument Avenue and in Bryan Park. Upon finishing your ride back at Sports Backers Stadium, celebrate at the Agee’s Post-Ride Party with live music. Monday September 4, 2017 - Flat Rock, NC - The Tour d’Apple is an exciting ride through Western North Carolina’s apple orchards, waterfalls, and mountains to benefit the charitable projects of the Hendersonville Four Seasons Rotary Club. It includes a Century (100 miles), a metric-century (100km), as well as 45 and 25mi options.
Mojo Cycles Labor Day Ride
Monday September 4, 2017 - Matthews, NC - Mojo Cycles in Matthews will host our annual Labor Day ride on Monday September 4th, the 3rd in our series of summer holiday rides. We'll leave at 8:00 am with a police escort thru the light on Independence Boulevard. We'll offer two well marked routes of 30 and 53 miles, the latter route includes a mid-ride stop at the Polk Mountain store in Unionville. This ride is open to cyclists of all abilities, but is show and go with no formal support while on the road. Cue sheets will be available, no fee or registration. Monday September 4, 2017 - Southern Pines, NC - The Sandhills Cycling Club is proud to host the Tour de Moore Classic as an annual celebration of cycling and the community. Saturday September 9, 2017 - High Point, NC - In partnership with the Bobby Labonte Foundation, the City of High Point, NC, as well as USA Cycling and the Carolinas Cycling Association, the September 9th High Point Cycling Classic will combine a fundraising ride in the morning with the exciting action of criterium racing in the afternoon and into the evening in downtown High Point, North Carolina.
Saturday September 9, 2017 - Greensboro, NC - The 5th annual Skeeter has been scheduled for Saturday, September 9th. Current plans are to use the same routes as last year. If changes are made updates will be posted. Ride distances included 10, 25 and 50 mile routes. Each route will be marked with both road paint and signs. Sag wagons with water tour the routes in case any riders need assistance.
Aiken To Ride
Sunday September 10, 2017 - Aiken, SC - The ride begins and ends at H. Odell Weeks Recreational Center in Aiken, SC. Registration starts at 7:00 AM and a mass start to begin at 8:00 AM. There are 4 routes offered to riders. We will have SAG Riders, Rest stops along all routes and an after the ride meal. All proceeds from this ride will benefit Special Olympics South Carolina/Area 15.
Shenandoah Valley Century Ride
Sunday September 10, 2017 - Harrisonburg, VA - We invite you to help us celebrate the SHENANDOAH VALLEY CENTURY for some of the finest cycling to be found. The ride starts in Harrisonburg, the bike capital of Virginia, and includes scenic vistas, small towns, beautiful farms, quiet roads, and more. Participants ride at their own pace; the event is not a race. Maps are provided and the route will be patrolled by automobile SAG to provide assistance as needed. A food and drink stop is provided every 25 miles and at the midpoint of the 25-mile ride. Bicycle rides of 25, 50, and 100 miles through the scenic and historic Shenandoah Valley sponsored by the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition.
Bike MS Tour to Tanglewood
Saturday September 16, 2017 - Clemmons, NC - Bike MS Tour to Tanglewood offers multiple rally route options including 15, 35, 50, 65 or 100 miles on Saturday, and 15, 25, 40, 50 or 65 miles on Sunday. Mountain Bike Trail options are also available at Tanglewood Park.
Blowing Rock Fall Classic
Saturday September 16, 2017 - Blowing Rock, NC - The Blowing Rock Fall Classic is a 72 mile bike ride on Saturday, September 16, 2017. It is part of a Triple Crown of bike rides along with Blood, Sweat & Gears and the Beech Mountain Metric of the High Country Cycling Hat Trick. The circuit has an elevation gain of over 6000 feet and follows some of the most scenic roads in the state. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Winter Warmer Project, a charity created by the Blood, Sweat & Gears ride that helps provide warm clothes and bedding for people in need.

Pedal Hilton Head Island
Sunday September 17, 2017 - Hilton Head, SC - Pedal Hilton Head Island, the largest bike event in the Lowcountry, returns this year with a completely transformed event that will take riders for the first time all the way around the Island and beyond. From the hard-packed sands of Coligny Beach to bridges, Pinckney Island, the flyover, and the roads and bike paths in between, join us for a spirited ride around Hilton Head Island with 100% of funds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island.

Saturday September 23, 2017 - Locust, NC - Join us for the AoMM series of rides for 2017. Registration is not required. We provide a marked route, local rest stops, and lots of encouragement. There is a $2 donation to cover the cost of the ride. All riders must sign a waiver at the start.

Saturday September 23, 2017 - Greenville, SC - Pedal through the beautiful South Carolina upcountry Blue Ridge Mountain region. Cyclists have the option to choose from a 75-mile, 35-mile or 10-mile ride. 100 percent of proceeds will go directly to high-impact programs to speed better treatments and a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Cotton Country Century Ride
Saturday September 23, 2017 - Greenville, NC - Cycle along idyllic country roads through the flat countryside of Eastern North Carolina. The Cotton Country Century offers three ride distances, 30, 62 and 100 miles. The routes are on lightly traveled country roads in the heart of cotton country USA. Capital Area Ride for Safety
Sunday September 24, 2017 - Raleigh, NC - Capital Area Ride for Safety (CARS) is being held again this year - September 24th - to educate, raise awareness and encourage positive interaction between motorists and bicyclists. Responding to the many crashes resulting in serious injuries and fatalities, cyclists from teams and clubs in the area came together to organize this ride. Starting from Wakefield High School, there will be a 14-mile ride (one-way ride to Halifax Mall) and a 28-mile loop with assistance by the Raleigh Police Department along the way and at the intersections. A shorter (4-5 mile) option starts at the Linwood Brewery. We will have refreshments and hear from a few statewide and Triangle-area elected officials, advocates and safety experts at the half-way
Cycle North Carolina Mountains to the Coast Ride

NC National Guard 3rd Annual Guard 2 Beach Ride
Friday October 6, 2017 - Raleigh, NC - The best patriotic ride in North Carolina. Civilians join friends, police/fire, active military, veterans and disable military service women and men for a fun, patriotic ride for All cyclist. Ride 1 or 2 days with (3) ability groups! Day 1 Raleigh to Roseboro, Day 2 Roseboro to Wilmington. 40 or 75 daily options. Carpool to event and free daily shuttle bus rides provided by the N.C. National Guard. $50.00 registration fee goes to benefit the North Carolina National Guard Educational Foundation, registrations includes a t-shirt and rider support.
Culpeper Cycling Century
Saturday October 7, 2017 - Culpeper, VA - This bicycle ride is fast becoming a tradition boasting great scenic beauty and paved road riding in Culpeper County during the most colorful season - Fall! You can choose between several distances, including the ultimate challenge 103 miles of countryside roads. Proceeds from this ride will benefit the Culpeper Recreation Foundation.
RVA to DC Ride
Saturday October 7, 2017 - Richmond, VA - The two-day ride will start at Sports Backers Stadium and take participants on a 156-mile route from the capital of Virginia to the nation’s capital, finishing in Rosslyn adjacent to the Key Bridge with dramatic views of Washington, D.C. On day one, riders will travel 75 miles through Lakeside, U.S. Bike Route 1, Ashland, and Caroline and Spotsylvania counties before ending on a paved multi-use trail in Old Mill Park in downtown Fredericksburg along the Rappahannock River. Day two will take riders across the Rappahannock into Stafford County and Quantico for 35 miles of rural riding and paved trails, followed by low-speed roads through Manassas before a totally unbroken network of paved trails in Centerville at mile 46. These trails will take riders all the way to the finish festival at Gateway Park at the base of the Key Bridge.

Saturday October 7, 2017 - Cary, NC - The Tour will begin with a 20 and 50 mile bike ride. The 50 mile ride will have a fully supported rest stop approximately halfway during the ride. Saturday October 14, 2017 - Thomasville, NC - The Tour de Pig is a fundraiser for the Mental Health Assoc. in Davidson Co. and is an official event of the Barbecue Festival in Lexington, NC. Routes are available for all levels of ability. There are 100K, 50K, 35K, and 20K routes all starting and ending at the Davidson Co. Community College campus. Pre-registered riders receive a Tour de Pig shirt, a collectible patch, and a barbecue lunch. The ride is furnished with rest stops and ride support.
White Squirrel Classic
Saturday October 14, 2017 - Brevard, NC - The White Squirrel Cycling Classic is a classic fall spinner during fabulous fall leaf season. Starting and ending at the Tasty Weasel tasting room at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard NC! Riders will head out on flat valley roads near the base of Pisgah National Forest. They’ll meander along the French Broad River before heading into Henderson County and then back to Oskar Blues. These routes will lead riders on a fully guided and supported tour of some Transylvania County’s finest roads! Chip timing with King of the Mountain segments, fully supported rest stops with medical assistance available, and SAG wagons.

8th Annual Honor the Warriors Bike Event
Friday October 27, 2017 - Mint Hill, NC - Everyone is invited to register and ride with our Warriors. We will ride through Downtown Charlotte on Friday the 27 of October and follow that community ride with a multi-route Ride from Veteran's Memorial Park on Mint Hill, NC of Saturday. The Friday ride is a great time to ride alongside a veteran and get to know them. The pace is slow and the camaraderie is high. We stop at two schools to speak to the kids and see the best of downtown Charlotte. Lunch is provided but participation is limited so register early. The Saturday ride has 3 routes of varying lengths and each start is preceded by a brief ceremony to honor Veterans. A NC BBQ dinner finishes off the day.

Saturday November 4, 2017 - Florence, SC - Bike “Like a Nut” with us on Saturday Nov 4th starting from the Fitness Forum and going out National Cemetery Road for a flat fast course. Both rides start at 8:30am. The fee is $30 for early registration (prior to Oct 27th) and $35 for late registration. All proceeds benefit the Florence Downtown Development Corporation Pecan Festival Fund to be used for next years event.
