8:00am  C4 LSD Ride Series (Long Slow Distance)

The LSD Ride Series (Long Slow Distance) now the Breakfast Ride To Denton is a Saturday morning ride designed to be laid back and leisurely, with speeds as slow as 10-13 mph average.  These rides are designed for those who like to go long distances, but aren't necessarily in any hurry to get there.  These rides will start shorter but get  progressively longer as the year goes on and the riders build more fitness.  Eventually, as the rides get longer, they will have destinations such as breakfast in Denton, NC (later in the season).  Our ride leader is Steve Mosier, who is an experience touring cyclist. This ride will take place on various Saturdays throughout the year.  Check with Steve for date confirmation.

This ride will be a no-drop, 13-15 mph pace ride and is flexible depending on who shows up.

8:00am  Cool Breeze Saturday "C" Ride

The ride starts in the Cool Breeze Cyclery parking lot. The ride rolls through the backside of Mooresville out into the country side with several rolling hills. The "C" ride will be a no-drop ride to the best of the ride leaders ability with an average speed around 14-16mph. This is a mellow ride for advanced beginner to intermediate level cyclists that are able to average 14-16mph for 30-35 miles. At times, the ride speed may increase to 20+ mph if the wind and terrain cooperate. This will be a mostly steady ride with regrouping at major intersections if the group splits up on the hillier sections. Please keep in mind that this will not be a true beginner ride. This is for riders that have some bike fitness and can handle riding for a couple hours but aren't quite at the 'B' level and are looking to get to that level.
