Matthews Cycling Club, formerly Mojo Cycles, is a group of a few dozen cyclists riding together through the low-traffic areas of Matthews and Indian Trail, typically at an advanced pace exceeding 19mph. Our club maintains three well-marked routes that are easy to follow. All rides start from the public parking area in Matthews. See the map links below for the exact location.

MCC Tuesday Night Ride

Ride Description: Our Tuesday Night Ride typically has 15 to 20 advanced cyclists participate, riding at a pace exceeding 20mph on an unmarked route, ranging from 30 to 40 miles during the long summer evenings.

Ride Description: We typically have a dozen cyclists ride 30 or more miles at an advanced pace, at or exceeding 20mph.  While the route may be unmarked, we occasionally follow the 30-mile marked Crowell Dairy route used on our Holiday Rides.


MCC Saturday Morning Ride

Ride Description: We typically have 25 or more cyclists on Saturday mornings. Riders choose from 30, 45, or 50+ mile distances. The 30 and 45 miles distances are ridden on marked routes, while the longer A-group ride varies from week to week on un-marked routes. Expect a fast-paced group riding at a 19 to 21-mph average pace, with some re-grouping. Our routes are in the low-traffic areas through eastern Mecklenburg and Union Counties.


MCC Sunday Afternoon Ride

Ride Description: Join our group of 10 to 15 cyclists each Sunday at 2 pm for a ride through the Matthews and Indian Trail area at an average pace of 20 mph, with some regrouping.  The ride features low-traffic and beautiful scenery.
