Get Your Ride On!
About WeeklyRides
Most of us remember the moment cycling became more than just a hobby. It promised better health, new friendships, and a stronger connection to our community. Almost immediately, one question followed: Where can I ride?
WeeklyRides was born in 2005 as a simple list of local rides shared among a small group of friends. It didn’t take long for the cycling community to embrace the idea. Finding new rides and meeting new friends became easier than ever. Bike shops gained a trusted place to send customers eager to get rolling on new bikes, and ride organizers discovered a new way to reach wider audiences. It quickly became clear just how valuable this information could be when shared more broadly.
Charlotte is growing fast, with more than 125 people moving to the area every day. Helping newcomers find their place, especially in something as community-driven as cycling, is more important than ever. Community has always been at the heart of cycling, and as more riders get involved, the community grows stronger.
Today, WeeklyRides remains the most complete and accurate regional hub for sharing rides, events, and resources. By connecting riders at all levels, it continues to make cycling more accessible, helping cyclists find their community, show up, and ride together.
